This page is a condenced version of my Japanese
home page.
To look at a web page in Japanese, you need
an environment that can display Japanese
fonts.
However, even if you don't have Japanese
fonts, you can still see the pictures.
In my Japanese pages are detailed record
of maintenance work required on my car since
I
purchased it 4 years ago and also some pictures
from events and circuit races.
About my car
1980 AlfaRomeo Alfetta GTV2.0L(AR116.36A)
I own this car both for fun and as a means
of transportation.
This is the only car that I have.
I would love to buy another one, a more reliable
car that I can drive everyday to do errands,
but in Japan there is a big problem of parking
space.
Currently, I rent an apartment. I also need
to rent a parking space separately.
In Japan, you need to submit a document to
the local police department certifying that
you own (or rent) a parking space for a car
before you can purchase it.
In Ota-ku Tokyo, where I live, parking space
for one car costs as much as $200/month.
However, in large Japanese cities like Tokyo
there is very good public transportation.
It is actually more convenient to take a
subway or a train to downtown whether going
to
work or going shopping, so not having a car
is not much of a handicap.
My Friends
These are my friends' cars.

put it on this page too.
